Missing Teeth

Patients with inadequate bone for implants may require bone grafting to achieve an optimal result. During your consultation, your surgeon will discuss whether grafting is necessary prior to, or during implant placement.

Dental implants are titanium screws placed into the jawbone, where they serve as artificial tooth roots. It takes several months for the implants to fuse with the surrounding bone, providing a stable foundation for dental prostheses. The final dental prostheses may include individual replacement teeth, or an implant-supported full arch denture.
